What do you think?

Do you think she is ready for 'food'?
Dr. Amon said that Peyton could start having "solid" food (aka: rice cereal) once she started watching us eat, and either making noise (like I want some) or opening her mouth....So, do you think she is watching her Daddy here?

Needless to say, her high chair will be getting some use very soon!

We have been putting formula onto a baby spoon and "feeding" it to Momoka. She still is pushing back a little on the spoon with her tongue but is getting better each time we practice. Of course most of it ends up on her bib, but that's not the point. Good luck!

Oh yes. I say go for it. The recommendation now is between 4 and 6 months. I can't wait. I feel like Seth is already looking at me with longing. Looks like Peyton would like to start with chips rather than cereal. You may want to grind those up in your blender. LOL!

We gave Savannah her first solid food at 5 1/2 months because we wanted to control it and that is when I went to live in Guatemala and take care of her for the duration of our process(I don't know if you knew I lived in Guatemala for 88 days with Savannah). I made my own baby food because everything there had sugar and salt added. At home I did a combination.

Good luck and have fun with it. Each milestone is special.
