Disney Sea Today we enjoyed the day at Disney Sea - what a different experience than we are use to in California!
The park was extremely busy due to Spring Break and being a weekend - Tokyo Disneyland was even SOLD OUT! There were people everywhere. I loved just walking around in the shops, we only went on the Aladin ride, since Yuko and Isao can't do "high speed" rides, and neither can Dean, so it was fun just walking around and taking in the sights!
Here are today's pictures, I was cracking up at Dean in some of them! Tomorrow is the BIG Day we will get our daughter! We are both very anxious/excited and can't wait - We just heard from the Watanabe's that the babies will be delivered around noon tomorrow (we had just left to go to dinner when Taz called, so we missed her call :( - but we were told that the babies will be delivered individually to each family and depending on the fussiness of the baby would determine which baby would meet their parents first.
I was able to get Skype downloaded and enjoyed a nice chat with my brother, nephews and niece this morning - amazing what technology can do! They are looking forward to talking to Sakura tomorrow!
All children come from God, for some the journey home just takes a little longer.

Our room at Oakwood Apartments
Oakwood Apartments
We have a few minutes while we are waiting to meet Yuko and Isao (Dean's cousins), so I thought I would take a minute and post a few pictures of our room at Oakwood Apartments - we are in Room 1004 on the 10th floor, so the view is pretty good of the Tokyo tower. We are right across the street from Starbucks, McDonalds, Hard Rock Cafe, the Outback (although we wouldn't dare eat there after reading Misty's take on it :)
So here is our home away from home.

The Skyline view from our balcony.

We have arrived!
We are another day closer to Peyton Sakura!
We have arrived in Tokyo - Wow what a long day! We got up early around 5:30 (couldn't sleep anymore) in LA and got to the airport around 8:30 after dropping off the car at the long term parking, it is now 4:35 a.m. in California and we haven't slept (yet!)....I'm finishing this post, then off to bed for me!

Here we are waiting for our plane...BTW anyone travelling, take my advice and don't wear a 'baggy' sweatshirt, I was pulled for a random search in the blower tank!

Our Lunch...not quite sure what it was, but at least it came with directions on how to prepare it, it wasn't bad, but nothing I think I'd go out looking for in the future...we didn't follow the directions as there was icky looking stuff that neither of us would have eaten...so rice and meat and mushrooms was it..oh and I did use the hot paste, but Dean didn't.

Ready for our Princess!
Peyton Sakura we are ready for you!
The two luckiest blue birds in the whole world now have a permanent branch
Tonight we finished up Peyton Sakura's bedroom, now we are ready for our Princess!
Tomorrow night we will be busily packing and preparing to drive to LA to catch our plane, as you can imagine emotions are running high. Tonight we sent the puppies home with Grandma for their stay and that was tough, this is the longest we've been away from them and I miss them already, I felt very guilty as I kissed them goodbye - I know that Grandma will take good care of them, but they will miss us and we will miss them :(

Another Amazing Shower!
Yesterday afternoon was another amazing baby shower, Peyton Sakura will be one very well dressed little girl. I thought it would be easiest to have two showers to try and accomodate more of my friends, since I have lived here in Yuma since I was two years old, and I have worked at the same place for the last 20 years - I have many friends that have all been part of my life and wanted to share this special time with as many as possible.
Peyton was showered with a great swing - my Mom and my good friend Carla couldn't wait to see it assembled, so they did just that - they assembled the swing when we got home with everything - the swing is AWESOME - it has a little light show that plays inside a little mosquito net thing, it rocks frontward, and side-to-side, and plays 16 musical tunes - it is SO cute to boot!
Assembling the swing!
Fancy Nancy book from Auntie Becky
Pink blanket
She also received lots of bath stuff, a bouncer chair, a super cute Pooh piggy bank (with money in it!), two DVDs by Baby Einstein, some very cute Little Giraffe burp cloths and little elephant blankie toy, a pack-and-play, lots more bibs and adorable clothes, bottles, a hand painted hanger, and gift cards.
Loads of great pink things!
I truly feel very blessed to have so many good friends that have such a special place in my life - and I cannot wait to bring home our daughter to introduce to everyone, she is also blessed to have so many special people in her life.
