Disneyland Day 2

We got up bright and early and headed to Disneyland for Sakura's appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique this morning, but stopped on our way in as LOOK who was right there with not much of a line!  MINNIE MOUSE of course!  Sakura's favorite!

Hanging with Minnie - there hasn't been a trip to Disneyland since she received her own Minnie that she didn't take her along - she LOVES her Minnie, riding in Signature Sakura style ... upside down sunglasses.

We ate a little breakfast and then headed over for Sakura's appointment.  SHE chose a different hairstyle this time.... we tried numerous attempts to pursued her that she should get something else, but she wasn't having it.  This trip she will be Pop Princess Sakura!

When she was done, we were happy with the results ... we think she is a gorgeous Pop Princess Sakura!

Then we headed to take flight with Dumbo - today it's a yellow one!  Sakura's choice!

AND of course King Authur's Carousel is next ... the line was short at Dumbo so we opted for that quickly before the crowds take over!

Somehow I think someone missed that part of the rules though :)  HAHA!

We decided to head over to California Adventure HOPING to get a glimpse of the new Cars Land~!

Well the line for the ride was ridiculous, but we enjoyed our day anyway.

Pre-Surgery Trip for a Princess Make-over!

In preparation for Sakura's surgery and not fully knowing what to expect, we decided to do what she loves MOST ... a trip to Disneyland and an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique of course!  Sakura sure loves this place - she doesn't care about anything else at Disneyland, she would be happy just riding around looking at the sites in her stroller, except for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and that is one thing that she asks for.  We are happy to oblige in her Princess obsession :)

First stop is for lunch - we got up early and it was lunchtime when we arrived.

1st Ride, King Authur's Carousel of course --- and popcorn with Daddy YES they JUST ate lunch, Daddy is happy to have a little snacker to join him in his never ending snacking!  UGH!

Then it was off to fly with Dumbo!

It was hotter than blazes this weekend, we dove into the shops in Toontown and cooled off (although by the looks of Sakura's cheeks she was still pretty hot!).

Happy Birthday to Jiichan

We celebrated Jiichan's 90th birthday today by going to Ah-So.  Special occasions (well probably every day is some special occasion if you looked at my camera memory card!!!) always warrant a camera tag along!

Back to School - Sakura is a Preschooler!

Sakura's 1st Day of Preschool!

It is hard to believe that Sakura is actually in preschool, but today when I dropped her off I realized that she is not a little baby anymore, she is a fast growing spunky little toddler.  She started going to Cornerstone Preschool in July due to the availability issues I mentioned in a previous post, but they practice a traditional school calendar, so today was her 1st day of Preschool.  Sakura also advanced to the Caterpillar room - so she once again left behind her familiar surroundings and friends but thankfully her teacher went as well, so that was NICE!  Sakura loves Miss Clarissa, and so do we!

I took MANY pictures, just kept the button down, so this is sort of like a slide show of Sakura dancing!  Because that's what she was doing as I was trying to get a picture...but I thought it was cute enough to post all of the pictures.  We are SO proud of you Sakura!

I saw this on Pinterest and thought what a neat idea .... it will be interesting to look back on next year.

Upon my return at the end of the day, I asked Sakura how her day was and she proclaimed GOOD and proceeded to show me her handy work for the day!  I'd say she had a GREAT day (as big people's do)!

Daddy is gone this week, but he suggested we get an ice cream cake to celebrate Sakura's 1st day with Bachan and Jiichan after dinner ... so Sakura and I stopped on our way home.
